§1 General Information

  1. The controller of personal data is:

  1. This Privacy Policy defines the rules for processing personal data of users of the online store available at www.intersell.pl.

  2. Personal data are processed in accordance with:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR)

  • the Polish Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018

  • the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means.

§2 Scope of Collected Data

While using the store we may process the following personal data:

  • first and last name

  • delivery address

  • email address

  • phone number

  • company data (company name, tax number – if applicable)

  • IP address

  • order-related data.

Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for placing orders or using selected store functionalities.

§3 Purpose of Data Processing

Personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  1. execution of orders and conclusion of sales contracts

  2. maintaining customer accounts

  3. handling complaints and returns

  4. responding to inquiries sent via the contact form

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract

  • Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – legal obligation

  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest of the controller

  • Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent of the user (e.g. newsletter).

§5 Data Recipients

Personal data may be transferred to entities supporting order processing, in particular:

  • courier and logistics companies

  • electronic payment operators

  • hosting providers

  • IT system providers

  • accounting service providers.

Personal data are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

§6 Data Retention Period

Personal data are stored:

  • for the duration of the contract

  • for the period required by law (e.g. tax regulations – up to 5 years)

  • until the consent is withdrawn – in the case of data processed on the basis of consent.

  • rectify incorrect data

  • erase personal data (“right to be forgotten”)

  • restrict processing

  • data portability

  • object to data processing

Personal data of users may be processed automatically, including profiling, however such processing does not produce legal effects concerning the user or significantly affect them.

Profiling may consist in particular of analyzing purchase history in order to tailor the store's offer to user preferences.

When using the store, certain information about the user may be collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, operating system or visit time.

These data are stored in server logs and used only for technical and administrative purposes related to the server operation.
