The PPM-50 can perform an active test of all PON signals (1310/1490 / 1550nm) at any point in the network, including pass-through structure, burst mode and Pass / Warning / Fail estimation functions. This helps in assessing the quality of the transmission of PON signals.

Simultaneous loop-through measurement and display of all PON signals
The PPM-50 works as a loop-through device that can be connected anywhere between the OLT and the ONU. A small percentage of the optical signal is required for measurement.
The result is that all wavelengths can be measured simultaneously without introducing disturbance to the network.

Flexible measurements at PON 
User set thresholds
PPM-50 allows you to set the threshold value - each value from three lengths (1310, 1490 and 1550 nm) with its own evaluation system Valid / Warning / Invalid. These values can be freely changed to facilitate the measurement of the fiber, components and test points in the network.
